Cor, Look!

Rinkly Rimes had a picture prompt from Monday's Child today - it caught my attention, and gave me a perfect opportunity to speak of a subject which, over the years, has caused me not a little anguish. The clue will be in the last line...

Dire Warning - er - Warbling...

Beware the Queen of the night!
She flies when bats are winging,
and could give us a fright -
especially if she's singing!...

Bit like Ada in the shower, then?

  1. Ooh, treading on thin ice, I think. Ada might quite like to be known as Queen of the Night, though, as it's a rather fine tulip :-)

  5. Ouch... but doesn't everyone, even your beloved Ada sound fabulous with the musical sounds of the pipes chiming beyond our music.

  7. That's a fab picture - very Rapunzel meets the Wicked Witch of the West!
I'm picturing that shower scene in "Psycho". Not the murder bit; the music that accompanies the stabbings.
